JOIN US!!
We are always looking for new members to join our organization as firefighters, ambulance attendants, or both. Potential members must realize, however, that membership requires a big time commitment. There are state and federal requirements that govern how much and what type of training we must receive to provide a standard of service that the public expects. There is also training that the company requires to ensure the safe function of all company members at emergency scenes.
Meetings to conduct the business of the company are held on the first Monday of every month unless that Monday is a holiday and then it is on Tuesday. Training drills are held on the other Monday nights for both fire and EMS members. These drills range from running the equipment and the apparatus to mandatory hose testing to vehicle extrications and fires in our back yard! It is hard work and time consuming but membership is immensely rewarding.
If you are thinking that this sounds like something you would like to do but you don’t have the training or you are unsure how to get involved, please call, email, or stop by our firehouse at 92 Pocono Road any Monday night after 6:30. And, you don’t have to worry; we offer the training or will help you find the training that you need. Remember, the most important part, if you want to get involved, please let us know we would love to have you as a part of our firefighting family.
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN JOINING, PLEASE CONTACT US AT THE MAIN STATION NUMBER.
FOR FASTER RESULTS PLEASE EMAIL US.
